Rise of She

Rise of She

Aristotle’s heir’s are in retreat
Unimaginable was this tragic feat
But gaze upon the ruins of ancient Greece
Demolish arrogance and realize Liberty is a lease

Self-betrayal has been the undermining of thought
Hammers of destruction the education taught
Fear from nowhere, for that is irrationality’s power
Rising from restrictions on child’s freedom, making them cower

Kernel of the abyss into which Western civilization has slid
Channeled and pushed by the intellectuals of generation glib
Antagonism towards secularism, giving wish, whim and fantasy reality
Politics of suicide is rejection of the individual for group artificiality

Submission is that evil of abandoning your mind
Thought and self-determination hated by the frightened
Time to be strong and put the appeasers down
Launch again to the moon and demonstrate reason’s crown

True Gilt

True Gilt

At the dawn is remembered their black knight
Reluctantly their memories won’t evade last night
Middle-class mores instilled thru’ guilt
In the blackness their desires shine, the true gilt

Inspired by thoughts is the reality of future
No infinity but eternity, living their now culture
In the darkness of small hours where inquisitiveness dies
Life springs to the fore blinding all prying eyes

What to do about those lingering mind pictures?
Daylight once more raising castigating caricatures
Cling to reality and fight trained to feel bad
Unearned guilt the life-blood of control freaks frightened sad

Short time passes and dark knight passions rise
Glancing in mirrors their true gilt song is in reprise
I know they can’t resist and will always reach for that twist
Once more depraved will be their happiness’s insist

When The Cows

When The Cows

Sit down, you should know that rain is about
Clarabelle’s tribe, the heavy predictors are stout
Get under cover or you’ll be wet throughout
But humanity has peculiar bouts of chronic doubt

Changing minds or shifting thought is fraught
Try moving the cows when it’s wet even if danger’s in sight
Victor Hugo once more into the fray, when an idea takes
There’s no holding back and, no matter reason for its sake

Irrational fear is ensconced in the human sphere
Courage of thought is rarely taught and mind discipline is in tears
Those that stand up and cheer for reality’s peers attract jeers
Self-destruction and sacrifice, children of the original sin fear

Truculent insistence with bloody mindedness insouciance
The damnable cognitive dissonance shredding pled innocence
The silent storm endured, for in hell live the suffering innocent
No forgiveness or justice, but deliberate imprisonment

Wall

Wall

Hit the wall of happiness and get hit by falling bricks
Battered with sadness the hurt is not licks
One whack too much turns the soul out
Now even a whisper is a graze that makes a shout

The wall is an angel that’s shy of a touch
Heat is felt the nearer flown, from its torch
Color from red to white is the illusion of success
Reach to caress and that hand is made an abscess

Bewilderment is the lasting constant
No reverting to innocence and life is not lenient
What to do when it all turns out wrong?
Decide if it’s fake and been leading all along

Walls of the mind and actions of others not kind
Betray emotions that raise self-pity and bind
Condemning is so easy when happiness is that wall
Of those that seek to escape by a dream the squall

Heroes from Childhood

Heroes from Childhood

The tears reach but I don’t cry
My heroes from the past I see in my minds eye
Courage and bravery was so nonchalant for them
Witnessing life in a way few have before and none since then

I remember their names and faces until eternity
No flaws, very human and this is their gift to me
Nicknames abounded relative to skills appropriately
Super Swede, Sideways and Super Rat were said affectionately

Risk and death were a constant threat
Achievement the generator, stronger than that
A time before celebrity, when trust was respect
No intrusion into privacy, lots of characters and a champion-elect

Each October, we gathered upstate
At a track named Watkins Glen filled with color, holy real estate
All gone now but those times live on
I hear the music hauntingly and we’ll always be young

Senseless Contest

Senseless Contest

Chronic insanity powered by irrational humanity
Fight continues over ridiculous vanity
Displaying faith to deity and arrogant piety
Strike individuality for its Galilean veracity

What is what, see the Halloween dress of religiosity
So you crack up and laugh with irreverent rationality
Listen and watch the street corners as the fear is spread
Unknown, unseen wide-eyes imagine the abyss of dread

Pray upon fears that pray for the ending of the mind-voice
A time-clock ticking always pricking for reason’s choice
Dismiss fallibility witnessed, the infallibility charm is grass
So forget time passed and sit under a sun lamp stoned, tanning ass

It’s always prettier laying the fake and hallucinating
Smug about eternity is a feeling absolutely exhilarating
The senseless shouting argument and endless bloodletting
Silence and air as the birds fly, no divinities on mountains or in the sky

Revelation

Revelation

You hurt me, no mind just callously
My mind filled with confusion, jealously
Your declarations soaked my mind innocently
On reflection I surrendered, but willingly

Nothing hidden was your request to the kitten
Revelation of all required, but not that I desired your thighs
You showed no hand and made demand
Your words were empty but sounded like dry land

Do you realize the extent of your self-centeredness?
Is that an inability to care honestly?
Take what you can is your embittered refrain
Your self-hatred desires those who will lift a cane

So silence is inevitability which says so much loudly
Yet I long for you and miss you rather than hate you
I am not in your thoughts but listed by you as use
Revelation is conclusion too, but that chapter waits like a noose

Need

Need

That atrocious word allied with greed
No value or love but a naked self-centered creed
Anger rises, for need’s the slave
Turning over without reward, to be a lathe

Down into the valueless vipers pit it brings worthiness
Casts all into the abyss of soulless nothingness
Collapses even hope into nihilistic wretchedness
Death of emotion finally destroys humanness

To rise from that granite floor, smoothed by fallen faces
That is the strength of the flame need wants to smother
Ironic discovery from there, of truth’s ability to uncover
Mind is always there regardless of despair, to recover

Lunge for the choice Mankind always has
Easy when the mind is free from emotions now ashes
Few rise, but then realize the loneliness of needless
But worse is the charity of sacrifices

Paranoia

Paranoia

It’s got you by the balls even when a vagina calls
Suspicious, the road is yours all the way to pernicious
Rising never declining the fever holds until the tremor
Action to reaction lunging into over-reaction

No longer in the real world your fiction becomes affliction
Once seeing pretty, it’s now sullied and dirty
But the adrenalin rises and you get excited by that mannequin
Twisted and overwrought there’s nothing left short

Expendable is all in your sight, this deranged mental blight
Damned from childhood as daddy dominated all you could
Cleaning, the lunatic’s oxygen from night ‘til morning
Neat and tidy is the illusion of paper thin fragility

I laugh derisively at your constant self-whipping
Hatred of pater’s that become old men dictators
Insecurity from paranoia where minds have no sense
In the end you pathetically cling to daddy’s apron strings

Liberty’s Lynch

Liberty’s Lynch

Once more the fight which is no delight
The Nations dim with Jerusalem alone The Light
Evil preys upon Jacob’s children
Once more silence and acquiescence is heat for the cauldron

Do they know right from wrong or recognize evil’s song?
Alas they don’t care, instead lust after Judas’ silverware
They run straight for the sharp-tipped point
Glint of avarice blinds and deafens

The end of freedom is a glow as Liberty dies
How weak the will to live in this suicide as hatred flies
It’s not weapons that decide
Conviction is the judge that presides

The fight is in the future which is now
Jerusalem will not surrender even while the world cow tows
Eternal is My People and now we’re at home
Mistake oh mistake is once more The Nation’s tome
