When The
Cows
Sit down,
you should know that rain is about
Clarabelle’s
tribe, the heavy predictors are stout
Get under
cover or you’ll be wet throughout
But
humanity has peculiar bouts of chronic doubt
Changing
minds or shifting thought is fraught
Try moving
the cows when it’s wet even if danger’s in sight
Victor
Hugo once more into the fray, when an idea takes
There’s
no holding back and, no matter reason for its sake
Irrational
fear is ensconced in the human sphere
Courage of
thought is rarely taught and mind discipline is in tears
Those
that stand up and cheer for reality’s peers attract jeers
Self-destruction
and sacrifice, children of the original sin fear
Truculent
insistence with bloody mindedness insouciance
The
damnable cognitive dissonance shredding pled innocence
The
silent storm endured, for in hell live the suffering innocent
No
forgiveness or justice, but deliberate imprisonment
