Risk Sublimely
To look
back at my past seems surreal
A picture
of time that was happily mine
In the
morning shine, equities divine
A curious
ivory world sublime
A mix of
reality, emotion and time is a brew
Kisses,
chances, vipers and dalliances
Fair
days, some near misses and watch your back
When it
comes to high finance you’re always under attack
It’s fair
to say there’s no regret
I left
that place wracked not ruined
Too many
I knew became guests of the State
Greed
covers the gaping abyss until it’s too late
But innocence
with ambition’s a pathway thru’
I’d trade
nothing for the experience, my survivalist sixth sense
Yet it’s
not the negatives that are felt after so long
It’s all
the positives and they made it a most happy song
