Pushes that only the winner will survive

So adapt or die shouts evolution’s crier

Along comes humanity the apparent outlier

Nature reacts by enforcing to be commanded, She must be obeyed

But humanity has vanity and the arrogance of irrationality

Turning on Nature humanity frequently attacks itself by denying rationality

Raising emotion is one evolution but descending to emotionalism is finality

The contest is consistently run

Fear driving loathing to declare who has won

Not fear that disobeying Nature will trip and demolish

But not elevating the irrational and trying to defeat the other will

Nature always wins regardless what policy tries to sway

Equal actions and opposite reactions with consequences always on the way

Metaphysics is claimed by the mystics, psycho-kinetics, but only loves logic

Turn however one might, it’s the vectors of reason that’ll always strike
