At The Mall

At The Mall

Universe lonely and cold, the ultimate visage
Dimensions abound, invisibility the mirage
For I see them and they look at me, perhaps a sight
But sight for them is like looking into a wood at night

Clash of noise deafens sanity
Reflections glancing and palpable vanity
Look into eyes that love as Narcissus
Smiting love like rope-a-dope Cassius

Stroll the halls and see the tease
Short or mini up to cheeks that please
Delights are legs and strides even struts
Sit and sip cappuccino like Ciro munching nuts

The mall began when humanity fought with swords
In the center of the Old City murals depict more than words
Main Street has always been the meeting place
Civilization raised when it’s a capitalist race
