Roe Versus Roe

Roe Versus Roe

When the light goes on we sleep calmly in the water
We remember the warmth of the womb
The water washes away the flakes of life that slash
Rejuvenation is movement thru’ and reminds us of birth

Were we fortunate or blessed to see the world?
For while there’s the sublime, there’s also the crime
To me it’s so if I’m the baby born
To you it’s called choice and sends a shudder down my spine

But I’m one of the fortunate touched by the sublime
The first felt was a kiss and not the cold of steel and lime
That flash, the instant when life is first timed
Don’t look like much but its In the Beginning

Always the clash between life and individual
Mother’s body and child dependent is a ritual
Let the life live for there are many that would give
Reflection thru’ regret is a great curse without any forgive
