Night
Folk
You know
you’re night folk when you love midnight’s date
Your
intention is always early but somehow it happens late
Day is
okay but the surge of delight is when the Earth turns round
The moon
smiles and stars wink as the chic of dark abounds
Feel your
energy turbocharged
Excitement
is electricity in the air supercharged
Walking
is tripping the light fantastic
For the
music is excited ions that vibrates your sexual elastic
Walk the
same streets by day and domination is business bustle
Yet night
sees the sleek sashay and the folk that hustle
Ambience
is in the restaurant as diners lounge in bistro stance
Outside
the golden flow as smiles flicker with lustful glance
Late, too
late when even alley cats are asleep along steamy grates
Police
cruisers crawl as they scan the last to leave states
Staggering
to a cab the bitter-enders see the flicker of day
Shuddering
at that cold sight, its time for dreaming in the hay
