The Undeserving Blow

The Undeserving Blow

There’s no complete happiness for the kid rejected
Father figure’s supposed to be there to, for kid protected
But you know the feeling when father throws you out
You know how your mind is sent reeling and the entire world is doubt

The hit never recovered is from the absent one
There’s nobody to show or explain how the world can be won
You can’t see my scars that are different to most all
The ones from mistakes that hurt most from resultant inevitable falls

Do I hate, yes I do
Not especially specifically you
But all those that represent your identity thru’
Their voices, their attacks, their hits, maybe they sense I have no father to

So I learn and others like me determined
Some of us make it well, others of us underdetermined
You see, we don’t know what it’s like
We’ve never had anyone to teach us to ride a bike
