Finesse

Finesse

Midget Minds and their need to loudly chime
But their sound has no rational rhyme
Finesse has been abandoned and that’s a crime
From the fissure that bellows smugness all the time

To look into the gray clouds and see the rainbow so pretty
Humbleness is required, the virtue of integrity
It keeps honesty reflected in your eyes, that’s gravity
Out on the wild plains of Texas you witness yourself, just ask the Apache

I decide my own soul, that connection to the universe
Dead souls switch off the music because they’ve tuned out, they’re averse
Education has abandoned reason and recognizing reality
We’re not alone in the universe; we’re the bad neighbors in the galaxy

You know the story to stop and appreciate sans vanity
Awareness is the gift granted only to humanity
Time urges to live passionately
Happiness is indulging all you’ve discovered, constantly
