Mothers’
Lead
Does she
know you or only see you?
For some,
mother’s a fleeting glance
For
others it’s a life long dance
She had
the goodness to birth your sorry ass!
The years
go by and she’ll teach you never to cry
To build
your mind strong and resilient
For
there’re many in this life who’re weak and fearful
They take
pleasure in making others equally pitiful
You’ve
only one mater, don’t seek to replace her
Be a man
that seeks a wife not another mother or you’ll find strife
She’ll
teach you to let go and cut those apron strings
To be
someone she showed how to make all seasons springs
And when
she’s gone, you’ll wish she’d known you
Risk
everything with her for she’s why you breathe
And never
forget she’s a woman
Don’t be a rat fink and think she’s less because
of that
