Abject
Humanness
Do you
imagine happiness’ embrace?
It’s
always a pretty face
You’ll
stare for minutes and hours
Time has
no meaning then, or powers
All that
seems important are kisses and sending flowers
An
entanglement thru’ space absolutely sublime
There’s
that moment of wonder, captivated by another
The world
appears warmer and kinder
Then the
devil seeps in and your mind thinks!
Dratted human
fragility, insecurities and missteps
Go back
step by step, pulling the petals, always the petals
Love me and
love me not – oh the anxiety from negativity
The
unknown road always springs from loneliness
But
abandon self-doubt, for that’s silliness
Depression,
derision and all things except clear vision
Then the
telephone rings and the world’s harmonious again
