Hope Lies
Always hopeful, never
found
Hope lies shattered on the
ground
My courage I must find
Reach deep to find my kind
Walk the streets of no
address
Destiny’s demons love to
harass
Stalking my soul with ice
cold fingers
Plunging my world into
distress
I must pick hope up from
its unholy ground
Even though hope paints
illusion within a mind
Deny the fate’s for they
are fakes
Understand this world no
matter what it takes
Power in my hands is
thinking I can
Courage resolves in
bravery by acting a plan
Stare into a mirror and
dare to love
For that is the face of
divinity’s trough
