Human Like All

Human Like All – remembering Lee Remick

Imagination is that beauty is immune
That fame protects and is a magical tune
Reality is not the picture painted in Technicolor
It’s neither the gossip found between the glossy cover

Life has no favorites and secrets are a vise
Squeezing and forcing, trying to pry lips apart for vice
Chaos theory abounds when scandal is even a whisper
Leveraged by parasites that feed the bored and sinister

How shocked is the world when the kitten dies
Confusion is sewn when the icon cracks and cries
But behind the doors of the screen stage are battles that try
Humanity sensitive to the extreme that scream but bravely lie

Do they really care that inside the lair is an agonizing mind?
Where depression is found or sickness hits unkind
Fight between family or fan is the balance of guilt
Emotions of giving all because that’s how they’re built
