Love’s
Deck
I’m
strong, not brave
But don’t
imagine I’ll be your knave
I’m
courageous because of virtue
My mind
is ironclad in situ
I wait in
vain with loveless pain
Where are
you unafraid of high plain?
It’s easy
to slither in mud of mundane
But climbing
the courageous mountain is gain
No faith
but confidence, yet I yearn for a miracle
But I’m
no fool for I know historical barnacle
I am all
the cards of the deck, rough diamond to ace of spades
I enjoy
the amiable club while yearning for a sweet heart
Make your
way and we’ll be the joker together
King and
queen for happiness until forever
The poker
game called life, with so many faces
Call me
with your eyes for those are the truest traces
