Change
Emotions
The wind
of change is like snow
Virginal,
unknown and brings the pain of letting go
What is
this attachment that gives us emotional vertigo?
I desire
the rationality of a river that simply flows
We run
away from reality when it illuminates mortality
Subjective
views from mind altering stews
But that
is regression and delivers depression
Goddamn
manifestation of inward aggression
Betwixt
and between subjectivity and objectivity
Imagination
that soothes until rationality it unglues
I embrace
my weakness, its strength proportional to love
For the
balance between love and loneliness is change so tough
Only
love, that selfish value can rescue us from change emotions
Our
worlds are never set, yet we believe in forever notions
Flaw in
humanity or evolution’s optimistic sorority
Change
remains that knife-edge of sobriety
