Pendulum
The
trusting People gave you power
So very
long you abused it like a squire
Logical
conclusion when the Emperor ascended
Offhand,
backhand, contempt and you derided
From
within your ranks high upon the pyramid
Who you
believed a pharaoh, decided ‘twas time to be Thurgood
So he
trampled on your fields and shook you where you feel
Your
risen anger more than matched by the People cheering his deal
Far away
was another, who always did good by the People of his surround
Word was
his bond and once in power stood his ground
Unblinking
stare that unsettled all who dared
Sharp
mind like a whip end that thrashed all who connived
The Machiavellian
barons of power, almost irremovable
Banding
together with their cronies and political dirigibles
Their
systems in shock as the People solidify rather than crack
Revolution’s
a healthy solution to revert back to Liberty’s
Constitution
