Neptune’s Disgust
Lady
Liberty looks upon her adopted town
Her crown
wears heavy and her tears run down
Long she
has held Liberty
and freedom above water not to drown
Yet now
the waters rise for Neptune has started to
frown
King of
the seas, the cleansing wash
He sees
Lady’s distress and this angers him much
For he
knew her before she breathed and Liberty
is his creed
The New World has turned away from reason for the drug of
greed
The
pilgrim’s children have been partying long
Since the
discovery of welfare they’ve been full of emotionalist song
Now
crisis is the reality and the abyss dares
Sobriety
declares to look within and take care of home affairs
Neptune’s always ready to resume rest in his peaceful sphere
But Lady
Liberty’s his love and he’ll drown all those who renege on her
Awake and
rise to defeat the sloth that’s spread
The way
is capitalism and not socialist red
