Abstract
Irritation
Does fate
decree about you and me, then laughs at the disharmony?
We wish,
pray and intone for what we yearn, ardently
We must
see and witness to ourselves reality, truthfully
What a
price we pay for indulging tomfoolery
Visceral
beings, conflicts with the gods
Of man,
those irascible contradicting sods
We
constantly seek our muse to light our fuse
The muses
sit on high and view us with bemusement
Now this
was a silly thought for we know logic neutralizes magic
But all
this contradiction is humanity’s real situation, pedagogic
There’s
no answer why just those remnants before logic
We didn’t
know that e=mc squared and that one day we’d fly
Alas
resistance to this day is cognitive dissonance
The dance
of willful obstinate ignorance
That we
can pretend and play is evidence
That we
ascend with logic is intelligence
