Thaddeus’s
Minions
When
you’re on track you never imagine a setback
But
that’s the real familiar track that stabs you in the back
Fragile
souls are we, brave humanity
A
conflict of weakness and courage topped with vanity
Why’s the
destructive so alluring and warm?
In the
light of day so cold, it’s one’s own winter storm
Declaration
of never again and a vision of happy ever after
But then
the decline from nowhere in time and derisive laughter
Faith is
for fools and those whose minds are left at the door
Don’t
have a conflict within with questions in store?
Attack is
the same regardless of your mores
Perpetual
questions with no answers is a real bore
I know
I’m the outsider because that’s how I was born
I don’t
give in to weakness but continue the conflict as the norm
I succeed
and fail, fighting until my dawn
Within
this vicious cycle but never forlorn
