Deep Revelation

Deep Revelation

The orphan cries for there’s always something in his eye
The sight perhaps of love long lost and a loving sigh
The rejected soul is somewhat an orphan too behold
A father never known and never there to defend from young or old

So witness this little boy untrusting of another boy or man
Friendship so simple to most, is shirked, there’s only mom or nan
There’s the tumble of relationships as he leaves youth behind
The rise of a mind brake that wrecks his outreach for love in his mind

Trauma to overcome his silence of never daring to tell
Emotional pain and suffering is that slip he knows so well
Yet at times the courage to reach for love appears, it doesn’t seem sublime
It’s all the phobias and fears in the world wrapped up into one line

Extreme is the domain and strong passions lay claim
Strength is his bedrock from a mother like no other
He knows just one love is all he wants, but oh such a rarity
For it must be a reciprocated magnetism that drives her toward his polarity
