Time is a
swine because its stealthy and deceptive like good wine
You don’t
see the cracks on your skin and never notice the seasons waving
Mind
combined emotion, your intangible quarterback that decides play
So drunk
and oblivious in a funk of emotionalism there’s no notice of time
Shifted
by change thru’ time the realization that life is movement
The
hesitancy to recognize that nothing is permanent
But then
once again emotionalism is satisfied
You
embrace and surrender to satisfy that chronic hunger
Life’s
concretes, the events we suffer or celebrate
Inner
conflicts that collide with humanness and tautologies
Constantly
repeated outcomes of emotion versus reason
So we’re
driven into the psychotic cauldron
Filled
with prescriptions for mental prison
Ritalin
the pharma parent forced onto the children
No longer
taught is the art of thinking and self-discipline
Collapsed
is the bridge to self-esteem
