The Dysfunction

The Dysfunction

Hell’s endured within the cracks
When angels fall because of life’s smacks
The calls for help ignored by those all smug and kissed
So they’re not seen and never missed

Forgot is the tale of how Satan rose
Forgot is how the children go, so society goes
Suffer the children, then anger and blood flows
Tears and remorse mock as the screaming demon chose

A society that refuses to see because of fear, is infamy
Frightened like Dark Age serfs of something they know but don’t see
They are the dead souls, their identity ghouls
For they wait until the phony silence is shattered, by screaming tortured bloody death

They expect remorse, like a nervous hungry horse
But they get only a metaphysical recourse
For look away or take their life you may, but it’ll never set them free
Emotion ruled society where the spoiled children dictate decree
