An
American Tree
Don’t
weep for the indomitable spirit that stands
Despite
being hit, determinedly standing strong in the land
Bleeding
but feeling the stars and stripes all over
In the
face of evil the furnace of patriotism burns white hot
Love for
one’s country must be rational and is nurtured slowly
It
arrives one day and we’re defined
Realizing
that we have Liberty
Realizing
we’re in the Land of the brave and the free
The
journey to getting where we have to be
An
Example to others that reach out for individuality
“It’s the
Individual stupid” that ought to be every election’s key
Unlocking
the shackles that hold back happiness’ glee
This the
mission of any rational philosophy
To defeat
the tyrant and those that seek to make anyone property
But beware
and don’t mess up
The
demons of collectivism and the yoke of mysticism are never in despair
