Justice for Reason

Justice for Reason

Partisan may be sweet as marzipan
But the universe demands justice rules the clan
Disobedient Man has arrogant belief he can
Sway the laws that govern a turning fan

It’s taught that whim and wish is morality
But the law of reality destroys that superficiality
So love’s an emotion of want not need
Rational desire ensures that creed

Yet despite the annals of history
Man’s determined that peace remains a mystery
Hanging on to the beliefs of ascendants
Tradition condemns to repeating precedents

Clear the slate and disrespect those late
You’re the living and must determine your fate
Justice has no power for it’s the irrational that uses force
Reason exists and disobeying sets you on a tearful course
