recognize that it’s the individual not the identity

with a rationally taught mind that’ll hold sacred Liberty
In the
depths of oppression this message was taught
Martin
Luther King jr to Washington
his message brought
To
destroy hatreds and see how humanity can live in joy
He
understood well both sides’ emotions that could destroy
United,
wrapped in one flag that frees
Singing
our anthem that raises us above the trees
Look upon
the graves at Arlington
They too
fought for Liberty,
not destruction
