To see
the world sees fear slip in
Unnoticed
it arrives and the clinging begins
At first
to mother or father, for some no other
And
mentality solidifies by the time you’re seven older
From
tabula rasa ideally to MENSA
But
that’s not the way life plays
The
decision to think’s a deliberate action
It
becomes a battle between believing and reasoning
The
intense emotion is deep within psyche
Being
happiness with your mind’s identity
That you
can understand the world abstractly
In order
confusion is swept away permanently
This
journey of discovery can destroy fear
When
reason becomes the conquering seer
Alas once
more, humanity rejects the clear
Preferring
self-destruction and mystical cheer
