Sir Bacon’s
Barricade
Logical
conclusion has no emotion and destroys illusion
Finality
is its family and justice its omnipotence
Reason is
its sun that energizes and bestows
But only
on those that obey its laws and ways
Religion’s
an opposition that fights logical conclusion
And
dialectic materialism is based on spiritualism vomiting out collectivism
Two sides
of the same coin, irrationalism their shared optimism
Destruction,
superstition, suffering and death their political logical conclusion
Then suffer
always the little children taught fear and altruism
Wondering
why while covered in blood, their tears flooding a chasm
I am my
bro’s and sis’s keeper philosophically
For if
they surrender to the druids of unreason, I’m the sacrificial lamb
unequivocally
So everyday’s
a snow day for I trudge in the intellectual cold
The
battle between Plato and Aristotle, my side the Lyceum ragged but bold
Yet look
around and despite my love the quantum fold
Humanity
insists on trudging thru’ where brass is worth more than gold
