Destruction

Destruction

How ironic in the Lands of Religion
Where God is the supposed celebration
There is somberness and cheerlessness
For religion focuses on human destruction

Dystopia of the mind which sees only the dire
Living within unearned guilt stuck in materialist mire
That irony will make atheists, panentheists and deists rock with laughter
For it sews doubt and makes the devout perspire

Where reason clashes with your mind, that’s fire
It burns and makes you yearn for an answer
And you suspect it won’t be the one from mysticism’s or emotion’s locker
But from logic and reason, the only survivor

As a reactionary is the rebel’s valid stand
For religion constantly attacks to occupy political land
Religion of Marx thru’ that where Divinity is the idol
Either side of that political divide would is the evil

In The Curve

In The Curve

Anger that quietly seethes is the most deadly of the breed
Regardless of reason it sees only treason
Betrayal of innocence by evil or arrogance
There’s no forgiveness when the guilty transgress

The guilty perceive the innocent in the light of day
Naiveté from innocence offends the descendants of Cain
Suspicion isn’t part of innocent volition
The evil of the determined guilty, is their cowardice

For they prey upon those without power, but that’s their blindness
They forget about strength because their’s is fractured into weakness
And time, is sublime for vengeance
For subtlety and cleverness is the resilient victim’s Longinus

Beware of that strength, especially if those trod upon enter open revolt
They’ll be bloody minded with destruction and maybe a Colt
Injustice is the drug of the guilty inferiority complex
And the guilty have no self-esteem but an egotistic ax

Capitalism’s Light

Capitalism’s Light

Beware of the Emotions, those who believe they’ve divinity onside
They’re always the altruists that’ll sacrifice your hide
Their stripes they’ll always try to disguise
Their first utterances are who they are and, they’re never lies

Religion’s formal declaration is that the meek would inherit the earth
But they were fooled by the aggressors and got the whirlwind not the homestead
So they became as tumbleweeds, in their lives the desert
And along came the mystics with promises of equality called the collective

But these were philosophical varmints where values are a means
The end being control and mind obedience
They both swept you into government dependency
They taught you illiteracy, what an ironic confederacy

Now you simmer blatantly, unsure
But you’ll learn to live with that insecurity
Eventually seeing only individual Liberty
Politically becoming that fight for laissez faire, laissez passer

Glittering Strike

Glittering Strike

And then I trip over my brain
An eye looks to see all, in vain
Psychedelic colors bright and changing
Zig-zagging lightning in this migraine train

Dull throbbing’s the beat
Senses all ‘tized and urging defeat
A sickening feeling’s this psycho treat
Might as well enjoy Nature’s acid trip, it’s neat

Excuse me while I look at you transfixed
I’m here but my mind is currently mesmerized
A show that bizarrely I may count as a blessing
For otherwise I’d never witness this dazzling

And then it all begins to wane
I know that for many others, migraines are an awful pain
So I realize how fortunate I’m in this lane
Time ticks until it’ll begin again … And then I ….

Pink Elephants

Pink Elephants

In the desert I witness the wilderness, its disguise desolation
Where spilled water makes the guerilla life emerge then flee
Heat that’d bake apples on a tree
All’s hidden, it’s the earth topsy-turvy

In my solitary I’m intellectually
My conversations are soliloquy
I see my shadow and wonder it’s always lonely
Distractions from sun lit mesa in the badlands

Now grasslands and the illusion of desert
To me no dimension in my minds captivity
But I’m fooled as the fowls forage and find food
Another dimension that thrives hidden

Can I be that self-centered and smug?
To believe we’re alone, all there is, on this blue-green rug?
Beyond hypothesis to theoretical, where there’re alternative universes
And dimensions from four here to eleven out there

Beyond Blood

Beyond Blood

We suffer remembering the losses felt by those we’ve loved
For love’s an entangled sub-atomic thread
Sadness and joy felt as if gravity pulls
Even sweet lemons cringe your eye

Our wholeness matters for we’re holy matter
Extensions of The Light, our deep faith’s the light
Makes bright our minds with reason our guide
So we’re divine, with freedom to choose

Frequently emotion, feelings and intellect collide or disconnect
And the fall back’s to emotional default
Those entanglement tethers dictate and intellect’s in confusion’s state
Decisions made are desperate

So we discover our life’s rate beyond blood
That tribal ring dominating because we’re afraid of another Great Flood
It’s the primitive minds that embrace orthodoxy
Enlightened minds decide their advocacy

Their Existence

Their Existence

Faith revelation revealed life’s in everything, from The Light
The Framers recognized The Light, our Creator’s might
That freedom to pursue happiness IS an individual’s right
Liberty’s also, we’re free, we’re FREE, to think

To leverage the energy that makes good triumph over evil
The power of prayer but, faith’s the prerequisite anvil
And time, that human albatross to bear
‘Tis of no consequence for human’s are resistant and it’s a fare

I look askance at religion, for that’s manmade division
A fantasy like the bogeyman mixed with history and catastrophe
An early explanation to try and decipher metaphysically
Perhaps gotten hold of by those afflicted schizophrenically

The question of discovering divinity originally, vexes
Evidentially panentheist divinities, ‘Their Existence’, that decided our gift of choice
But devised evolution and allowed ignorance until?
The answer, that Their Existence exists, is seen in quantum mechanics’ evidence

Vanilla Sugar Cube

Vanilla Sugar Cube

Do you follow the sweet trail when love’s to no avail?
The clouds of melancholy always rumble
That empty area standing vacant
Abandoned by Cupid and longing for Sugar Cube

Romantic imagination’s an extra-ordinary station
Mind and emotion combined to desirable perfection
And then rises the craving that urges absolutely
For only emptiness surrounds, so the reach is for Sugar Cube

And when the taste’s found the pleasure isn’t happiness
It’s momentary and begins to decline
Disappointment after satisfaction flickers is a cut by sadness
The talons of the enemy disguised by its sweet called Sugar Cube

Now comes the regret within recrimination
Guilt unearned is the suicide of emotion
And nothing’s changed or shifted, then vanilla wafts
Realization you’re human, so it’s love or Sugar Cube

Saint Anger’s Glare

Saint Anger’s Glare

So you don’t believe that God’s panentheist?
Then look at the suffering street kitten or the starving child
Now declare that religion’s for the rational mind
Now dare to be self-righteous in your comfort zone

They prayed in vain when the gas ovens burst their brains
How many NAZIS did you count living free until their nineties?
Remember Phnom Penh when Khmer Rouge marched that City to death
Skeletal rib cages picked clean by vultures of the killing fields

Now dare to do that daily religious ritual that makes smug
Muttering blessings while accusing sexual difference of being evil
Don’t you see the contradictions covered by belief?
Doesn’t it make you think your premises are from a mind thief?

And mystics don’t you grin for it’ll become chagrin
Denying the mind in favor of feelings is a sin
There’s only one way to rely that mankind has humanity
It’s the rational good called sublime human nature, not charity

Under the Dark

Under the Dark

Hate is revenge’s sweet kiss
Allows you to kill their souls and never miss
It’s The Light’s way of soothing your soul
The Light of life in all that keeps you whole

Oh sweet hatred, that energy which rivals love
Sustains strength when it’s dark
Scrawled on prison walls and in the vengeful eye stark
Only fools turn the other cheek and have one eye, hark!

Keep an eye on guilt, for it’s a sneaky kilt
It’ll wrap itself round revenge and leave you suffering to wilt
But hate, in reasoned doses is yet a poison with satisfaction
Sustained it can destroy your mind, that’s insurrection

In the long run its use is like war
Taking it too far will leave you like a drugged worn out whore
Sweet is its successful conclusion
Unexpected and effective, a bullet from an angel assassin

Alice’s Place

Alice’s Place

When addiction’s your game the affliction’s sane
That driving force when your mind screams no!
The urge from within that screams craving
Ironic’s the optimism from the promise of tomorrow

I will today but won’t the next
Evil’s the reality for its always today
You know the cure that’ll make you pure
But it’s THAT mind brake stopping you

To overcome requires that The Light touches your soul
And then usually you’ll turn it to wreckage
Once more you’ll see the triggers that never relent
Again I turn to my torment

Tortured souls feel emotion’s extremes
Reaching heights or depths that become art
Hear their screams in strings, pictures or words
Normality can never be for those who love White Rabbit

Everything Identity

Everything Identity

Don’t allow time to direct your mind
Einstein’s revelation’s a curious find
The faster you go the slower you become
If panic sets in then time’s undone

But time’s a greedy fiend, without emotion
Consumes your lifetime in an unstoppable erosion
And when at times it strikes at nine
Its cold makes you shiver and remember you’re in mortality’s river

You travel in time to nostalgia that Utopia
It relieves the neuralgia from reality’s chronophobia
Imagination’s the logical conclusion which preys, so it’s a fall to dystopia
Wretchedness directs to the nearest bar and atychiphobia

Involuntary minds inflict your uncertainty
Makes to forget that now’s the future and eternity
We live in the present of time relativity
We’re the link between that and gravity

Moon Angel

Moon Angel

I work during the moonlit hours, my beat
Dressed to tantalize, tempt and treat
They wonder what’s under or maybe asunder
I cast disturbing urges that occur like thunder

It makes me feel good to be a Lady of the Nite
I turn white knights into dark lights
Their virginal sweethearts so smug
Together so trendy and snug

With me fantasies come alive
Free of that middle-class responsible jive
There’re no qualms, inhibitions or fake moral refusals
I shred that societal sanctimony and core religious hypocrisy

They call in their droves with cash in hand and lust in their eyes
My number hidden in their telephone’s archives
Their girlfriends and wives stabbed by their lies
At dawn I sleep while the guilty toss and turn remembering my passion cries

Conditions

Conditions

When the turn occurs you feel the cooling wind
For the temperature of life does become a fever
So your mind rushes and reaction gushes
At that point you think failure and hatred

Are you laughing within because you’ve known that din?
It jolts for it shows our vanities when we forget how thin is skin
Realizing vulnerabilities allows recognition of frailties
For when the temperature’s low, illusion is invulnerability

Humanity’s remarkable but also deadly
We know mortality is the end reality
I know and we have belief to assist faith
This complex blue marble, wreckage strewn our disgrace

No, we’re not our keepers, but morality is conscience
For we know we’re not chance and flinch at denial
Then rationality is goodness and to help others makes us smile
And yet, there’s that streak that makes us reach fever pitch

Defy

Defy

Energy in the peak zone is manic on a rave
The seduction to draw you into its cave
And depraved intention lives within
A shot between your eyes and you’re the fallen

This sadistic killer of your control
You’ll feel the destruction right to your soul
Then the sudden stop into sadness
Then you’re alone in the emptiness

Maybe you’ll reach bedrock’s safety
Perhaps you won’t and it’ll trigger insanity
In the mind there’re places that terrify
Once realized, you may be committed to Bellevue

Then psychedelic can be your acid future
Maybe lithium the alternative mental suture
Calmness and happiness those two impostors
But it’s preferable to reality’s monsters

Hidden Rainbows

Hidden Rainbows

Desert folk don’t believe there’re rainbows
They see the dry and wish that water flows
Yet in the domain of rain, bows are prism plentifuls
And during drying time you can watch the waterfalls

So reality exists even though you haven’t seen it
Within everything, life’s the conduit
For hidden from sight’s the Conscience
Until evidence upon attempted quantum observance

This is the light of Creation and everything’s its extension
There’s no separation, let’s use our minds not only observation
We never saw the manifestation that ‘nth second before Big Bang’s Explosion
I won’t close my mind to a multi-verse explanation

But how do I reconcile my mind that evil exists?
To folks that are suffering, rainbows are a colorless mists
Then faith’s the Light that’ll find hidden rainbows
Not a religion’s blight but strength from faith that runs within, continuous

Blue Tide

Blue Tide

Yes there’s entanglement, so why don’t you feel?
My mind’s been calling you, constantly is my deal
If I stood six feet behind, you’d wheel around
Perhaps my thought waves don’t carry up to higher ground

I see mind pictures of you that thrill me thru’
Attraction’s funny because it’s invisible but true
I chide myself for I know walls stand tall
But maybe this time, I’m on the side of the blue tide

Just look once in the direction of me
I know timing’s never perfect so the ideal’s past three
In the morn’ because that’s when red tide becomes blue
You see my true colors luminescent just for you

Think, think and remember you’re pretty
I know you believe you’re beyond being happy
So receive my thoughts and reflections in blue
The color of your eyes is a beautiful prize

Insanity’s Climb

Insanity’s Climb

The line between suicide and life’s frustration
It’s the barrier that prevents manifestation
Turmoil of the mind that inflicts such a crime
Fear’s the rising emotion saving that last dime

Strength is its presence that stops the hand
Look at that hand and realize friend or fiend
For that’s what takes the final command
So close, it makes me feel sick in my mind

Fragility and resilience is the fight within
Determined to stand and never give in
Surrender’s victory of the greedy and ignorant
Their putrid minds rule viscerally as religion is hate

This view isn’t dystopian and rejects the utopian
Reason as in rational is my savior into the open
Denying and destroying those mindsets of the schizophrenic
My savior named Ayn, my mind’s mother only second to mother

Maze

Maze

May’s gone and now the summer flowers
Already wilting and I hear the buzz
The insects that gather in the trees for the afternoon heat
Maybe mint julep would be an ideal Kentucky treat

I look back in time thru’ film noir
I’ve a feeling for that era, it’s happily sublime
Is reincarnation a drink of witch lime?
Perhaps dimensions send reflections thru’ time

In LA that amazing acronym
There’s Ravenswood the building
Art deco from a time when class and style rhymed
Mae West, if you don’t know her, you’re not worth the time

They’ve both gone but May will come again
And Mae will always be remembered for that’s West, Hollywood’s ten
Meantime there’s always black and white
When the story was the world at midnite

Opened Palms

Opened Palms

New beginnings clash with lingering emotions
Always the party crashers attempting disruptions
But the mental state is the prevailing rate
You’ll pay that at the end of the fight

Recognizable is happiness because I become Friday’s child
There’s no disguising sadness for then I’m Wednesday’s child
Alas overriding all is the melancholy cloud
And that’s known by all in their world where loneliness is found

The abandoned move in life with emptiness
When there’s been no father or mother, you have to guess
With trepidation because we don’t know
Not knowing how life works is a constant cold glow

So ‘twas absinthe or opium to overcome
But still right there is the cloud not gone
Where to now because life’s the price
For many I’ve tears, but for myself tough years
