Capitalism’s
Light
Beware of
the Emotions, those who believe they’ve divinity onside
They’re
always the altruists that’ll sacrifice your hide
Their
stripes they’ll always try to disguise
Their
first utterances are who they are and, they’re never lies
Religion’s
formal declaration is that the meek would inherit the earth
But they
were fooled by the aggressors and got the whirlwind not the homestead
So they
became as tumbleweeds, in their lives the desert
And along
came the mystics with promises of equality called the collective
But these
were philosophical varmints where values are a means
The end
being control and mind obedience
They both
swept you into government dependency
They
taught you illiteracy, what an ironic confederacy
Now you
simmer blatantly, unsure
But
you’ll learn to live with that insecurity
Eventually
seeing only individual Liberty
Politically
becoming that fight for laissez faire, laissez passer
