Reach to places where fear becomes clear

Do what makes a soul shake shiver and scream, then jeer

What scares is that which is desired

Certainty and guarantee is what the weak minded say is required

Feel emotions of high to the extreme knowing the fall is supreme

But even when the slide is on, regret nothing as your meme

Defiance in the face of adversity must be an early punch

When you know the turn has taken place, courage is easy and common as lunch

Is truth you take from faith or reason?

Regardless of origination you must prove rational conviction

Doubt by any degree is your mind dictating by decree

Conscious rational actions must be the truth you hold, with glee

And then do those you embrace turn their backs?

Extreme rational conviction frightens people into attacks

But extreme is merely a reach, whether it’s on a good or bad track
