To challenge another’s mind

Can undermine their life line

Weakness can be puzzling

For a strong mind that doesn’t require nuzzling

You walk with risk when your mind is yours

You can’t imagine fragility

Mind’s the foundation of conviction

Fear infests those that rely on emotion

That voice within, raising doubt is called reason

For logic is reality and that’s where we live

To accept merely what’s said or taught without explanation

Is the fountainhead of doubt and is epistemological treason

Prevalent is consequential uncertainty

Surety the gold that lights eternally

For me the seeking to understand the world

Led to deep faith thru’ physics via what was an atheistic cold
