Virtue’s Passion

Virtue’s Passion

The romantic’s viewed as quaint
Picture modernists like to paint
Roses and love in candlelight
To win at love’s never been met with regret

So stand out and be the one in innocence
To see love as true and without pretence
Vulnerable but tough within
For happiness then tears you’ve known

Look into the mirror and notice that warrior
The one that fights on Cupid’s side
His love for Psyche never died
You carry her quest with pride

Human emotion’s a measure of you
Expresses your soul and if you’re true
Illustrates your passion trove
Illuminates the depth of your love in mauve
