An Art Lesson

An Art Lesson
(dedicated to the star from Pahrump, NV. RIP)

Stifling the mind’s a stretch to the incredulous
Beware of the mind alchemists, their sleight of intelligence
Using evidence to extrapolate into fiction
You can identify them when they declare in Politician

Now this is a language that fires imagination
A dance that moves from floor to the light fantastic
And before you’re aware, can find yourself in plastic
Always carry that lightning defying ground stick

Concept’s the destroyer of magic
Built upon reality by the champion named Logic
It’s always tempting to step into fantasy
Do you really want belief rather than gravity?

We’re an attraction to those that pilot UFO’s
Witness the evidence on Pentagon videos
And Roswell’s the mama and papa of all shows
Better not confuse love with afterglow
