Broken Pendulum

Broken Pendulum

We’re born tabula rasa, the essence of free will
Like no other, empty and ready to fill
It’s up to your first years to decide what kind of individual
Give me the first seven said the Jesuits and you’ll be mine forever

The tether to mother can be a link like no other
Does she teach you to think or be a supercilious fink?
But minds are pulverized into subservience and obedience
By religious creed, mystical cult and irrational influence

Confusion between egotism and egoism’s Nietzsche versus Rand
Destiny in your hands to decide dictator or President
Successful Nation’s no accident but deliberate
Alas the world’s filled with tribal, racial divisive idiots

So we get to winning by denying emotion outright
It’s by desire and effort and not anyone’s by right
Your mind’s the strength that’s your real armor
Your mind Francis, your MIND, is your only defender
