Again
Once again blood flows in
defense
To protect this small
Land’s essence
Brave individuals knowing
reality
Courageous, true blue and
white, no superficiality
Enemy of evil, so evil,
await in stealth
This evil that hates life,
worships death
Rains rockets in hope of
sewing destruction on all kinds
Defying reality, steeped
in irrationality, suicide of their minds
Happiness tonight seems so
wrong in this light
Let us cry for our Son’s
in heaven’s flight
No tears of despair or
fear – tears for the brave
Tears for the beauty of
those who defend us, no more alive
Soldiers of Israel
They give their lives,
wounded or dead, for their People living
They are another link from
Deborah, to Gideon, to Yonni
Jewish warriors in their own Land - this sweet as honey
