Another Fight
Find yourself between the
worlds of here and mind
No place else but stuck
reaching as thought races round
Acceleration the
uncontrolled key
Pushed like caffeine
through channels which give way
Is this insanity while
standing still listening to the wind rush by?
The urge to scream and run
from your skin, a horror lullaby
No way to turn for its all
wrong, can’t climb the walls of brick
Sudden stop is the round
piece into a square brick block
Shake inside; you can’t
stop the addiction tide
Once underway it will take
you on that evil timeless ride
Find the mirror; force
your mind to slow
Steady your body, it will
not let go
Impassioned wonderment,
exogenous existence the destruction
You can’t remain impassive
after a journey towards self-destruction
Damned is humanity with
surreptitious afflictions
But once again raise yourself away from teetering dereliction
