Time Brings Grace

Time Brings Grace

When no-one reaches back, give yourself a hug
You’re your own warm tough rug
Have your standards which may feel cold at times
But that’s merely emotional illusion crimes

Your bedrock is principle instilled by virtues
Your subconscious is always aware and true
Strength’s the ability to walk in front
Stepping with your mind and confidence in what you’ll find

Loneliness is not a whip to blame you with
It’s courage that says the future is my truth
Conflicting emotions that may raise regret are rejects
Comfort is not the familiar or the past, but in your principled cast

Walk with uncertainty as the cowards of life yearn for security
You’ll find sadness and difficulty along the way, certainly
But look how painful is the birth of a baby
The future is now and you’ll find your prince or princess somehow
