Direction
to Compassion
Intrinsic
fear’s known when you have an uncommon condition, infinitely
Perhaps
it’s been life long, maybe since a certain year
That
frightening moment if the medication’s unavailable even for minute
Racing
thoughts and vulnerability realization in a split second
The world
becomes distant and, there’s no time for small talk
Unpleasant
is the intruding thought into daily life and routine
Then the
rush to discover how much time until there’s none
A barrier
of time is relief because time’s always a thief
Yet, it
all makes for inward reflection
Look
around and see people walking into your realization
That well
known bromide suddenly becomes a stark lesson
We have
no idea of the battles any of those folks are fighting
Then
compassion flows and strangers become people
You feel
their humanity and generate empathy
Is this a
reminder from Divinity?
That
arrogance, anger and small things stupidity, is pathetic vanity
