Collision with Self

Collision with Self

With a mind brake, different from most of the rest
Out of step, moving to another beat
A different equation where certainty doesn’t exist
This fusion that’s constantly collision

It’s not insanity when psyche and emotions clash
It’s a challenge for courage to lash
A mind rollercoaster driven by optimism and pessimism
Both rejected as imposters for they don’t exist

Strive to get to the point of satisfaction
To mingle among any city population and think I see
But perhaps they’re wandering and wondering the same about me
Nano second thoughts that pass glibly

It’s time that’s always the merciless urgency
And thought collides with that endlessly
Part of the collision, non-physical injuries that are reality
To realize only I am responsible, seeing that awful slap called blame
