The
Reminder
Notice
how the world moves, life is movement
Everybody’s
doing something even when still
You think
you’re at rest and doing nothing
When in
fact you’re moving without realizing
The
universe moves too, at a rate that’s like glue
We stand
upon the earth and look out across a vista
Yet we’re
sailing through at a rate of blister
So funny
old world where relativity is everyone’s sister
And we
succeed at will to move even quicker
Sail the
air and into space where we have no weight to measure
But we’re
falling so fast the earth goes constantly by seemingly at leisure
Orbiting
astronauts could easily believe they’re living longer
But
gravity is our taming tether
Trip,
fall or collide it reminds and keeps us together
Strength
is our antidote and we use it to get back up
Life is
so circular; make sure you’ve a sturdy stirrup
