Arrears
Pity is
that time disappears
Those of
us who day dream and get caught, time in arrears
Always
difficult to be aware of the tick
We end up
frantically in a rush, jumping at the tock!
Ah well,
might as well admit to procrastination
But dammit
all! - There’s so much between thinking and action
Do I
stand on a chair and forget I’m there?
Yes, so
suddenly a rude awakening as I fly thru’ the air
Stirring
from sleep is another time wonder
All good
intentions but alas, natural inclinations steel the thunder
Just five
minutes more with multiple snooze button alarms
Of course
I’ll make time, I believe in that smiling charm
Focus is
never tiresome, as my distractions always kiss
Coffee
time is the morning chime and it’s rarely a miss
Oh good
I’ve five minutes to play with and ten run right by

to stress, if I’m late let me do it properly and say Hi!
