Time Yourself
Crack the low, propensity
for depression
Stare into the heart of
your soul’s death with derision
Gain strength from that
imposter called emotion
Focus on reality, shine
rationality using logic as foundation
Tabula rasa into this
world we are born
Immediately the attack
from humanity is borne
Subconsciously,
consciously, the battle is begun
To win, to take this baby
to a side that is torn
Taught to accept the reign
of mysticism
Then the rule of
iconoclasm
A youth so battered arises
in confusion
Rejects all, falls into
the vacuum of annihilation
End of the fight, she finds
reason, demolishes doubt
Confused by this world no
more, capturers she routs
Understands the principles
of virtue, mind clear
Times herself, until
liberty’s mind wins the all clear
