Whacks
from Cain
Then
there’re times when you’re feeling a little trite
And you
remember that chocolate, the taste is right
Innocent
and sweet, like being kissed at midnite
Life
stands still and feels benevolent
Then you
look down and witness the flowing blood
Innocent
and red, once more it’s hatred
There’ll
be no happy resolution or justice from prosecution
Only
tears and emotion infinity, the sudden shift of reality to destruction
Random
acts don’t decide the world, they trigger
Deliberate
actions from stark calculation shift and change gear
Life will
appear as a fight between dystopia and utopian fears
Extremes
before the quiet and the past looks nostalgically clear
Welcome
to the human condition of incomprehensible
The
incongruent magnificent and diabolical
We try to
fathom and explain, often in vain
Only
courage then remains
