Everything’s
Entropy
How
quickly the night’s gone and the morning comes
Passing
the party hats and returning the road cones
Electricity
crackles as the first absinthe, gin flows
Suddenly
the music’s tired and the dance goes
Left is
staggering and right the warm body blows
For the
fused night morning’s when the club slows
We’re
both together and I’m not sure
A name’s
difficult to remember, are we about to endure?
Once more
almost a routine, but it’s better than sleeping alone
When does
a bed warmer become something cold?
Perhaps
when you realize you’re getting old?
No longer
the tally or the rush is bold
Sweetness
after the kiss, don’t feel attached after physical bliss
Overrated
is the thought a second after we’re elated
Strong
coffee to bring us into reality is the after, like being sedated
We look
into each others eyes and then know if we’ve related
