To Know
You
Deep pain
is regret of the soul
Rips you
apart if allowed to surface from its hole
Unique
bond between parent and child
Requires
time to blossom, marinate, be chilled
Nobody
knows the length of time or side
Moves its
own way without emotion, cannot be bribed
You
cannot know who you will be
You will
not know when you will be your tree
Luckiest
are those without restless shift
For
Mother will know you in a jiff
Those
where time is foe and of restless spirit, alas
They will
never know the calm, placid lawn of green grass
Make your
world big, do what you want
Do what
you can and have no regret you are who you are
But the
restless spirit will know the regret of what they do
Never
will mother or father Know You
