Corners
Is that a
pink, red triangle or an arrow facing left?
Perhaps a
colored pyramid or a road sign stuck in the dirt
Maybe the
NAZI designation for those of an alternative bent
The

See
significance in symbol and interpretation
Perspective
and affect, a thorough dissertation
The Bard
accurately declared that “being” is the ultimate realization
For if we
don’t think, we’re merely reacting to stimulation
And when
we think, to rely on reason
Yet
emotion creeps in and weakness is human
Weakness
relies on fear for success
Suddenly
the mix conflicts with morality, the standards princess
So do I
go with the crowd and see disappointment in mother’s eyes?
Rather
stand for your own mind with truth, even if alone
Not much
is given to thoughtful contrarianism
There are
no faerie tale rides, that’s wishful thinking
