The Wall
When the
mind brake is your prison, it is clear
You
cannot move to act from fear
Your
silent shout, so loud you hear
Like that
stammer you shake to be heard, but alas only tears
Why can
they not see?
To wish
so hard that they could read your mind like a seer
The
wrenching agony of your stillness
Trying to
break out but you cannot, cannot – just look into my eyes
Why must
this world be so quiet?
Why does
this vicious mind brake relentlessly hold your might?
Who put
it there – this sentence for life?
Who
decreed the loneliness and soul of strife?
You can
say nothing for you know what has always been said
No
understanding that gentleness and time is the thread
Sometimes
there is just one who does notice you are not dead
She is a
fleeting angel
