The
Return
To turn
around and withdraw from destruction
When
every nerve is pained and nothing feels certain
No desire
for the pathway back, nobody got your back
Emotions
that warm and push for the continued track
Look in
the mirror and dare your reality
Once
again straight-edge, must become the sanctuary
To take
that first step and push no matter the derision
For it is
probably in your mind, that confusion
Look at
the people walking by and wonder about normal
Such an
easy word, but you know it’s not informal
The rise
of the question is the accusation
Pointing
directly in my direction
So walk
that pathway without thinking
Separate
your emotions and feelings from acting
Never
mind the eyes you see and the thoughts you notice
All that
counts is the return to peace
