Tree
Message
Climate
Change, two words, a name
Danger
lurks, disaster if we make no change
Beings of
thousands of years also known as Trees
Calling
for help to continue the Birds and Bees
Sequoia,
Red Wood and Bristlecone Pine, the oldest in America
Beautiful,
magnificent with history, protect their future
Do not be
puzzled at this urgent request
For
Mankind and Nature are One, if they die all is empty bequest
Sequoias need
snow, high in the mountains
This year
in Spring, there was none, only rains
Red Woods
require the fog of ‘Frisco, one third now less
Bristlecone
Pines in Montana,
under attack from Blister Rust no less
Fruit and
nut trees suffering the higher temps
You feel
as if wrapped in a blanket, a mess
In
liberty, capitalism’s technology will rescue this planet
Blue
sight in space first witnessed by Apollo 8 in 1968
