Honey Dew

Honey Dew

I look upon your beautiful face in the morn and never frown
Sparkling eyes of soft caress so gently brown
Your smile makes the sun blush
With you I’m a conquering royal flush

Laughter peals so easily from you
Hugs and kisses energize like honey dew
I wonder if I’m part of a lucky few
Remember to count blessings is due

I miss you each time you go, your lingering fragrance
My world becomes lonely and time is a fence
That intangible called love which we feel before we see
I imagine it’s divinity in reality

Emotion is humanity’s quicksand
Temper tantrum to loving hand
It rules regardless of any mind centered stand
So best train our brains to enable emotions of dry land
